MEMORIA DO CORPO
2026
Mixed media on canvas.
Gold leaf, graphite and oil paint.
102 x 62cm.
The body is presented as a territory of memory. Stripped of individual identity and suspended in silence, it becomes an almost universal presence in which fragility, permanence and continuity converge. The objects that accompany it — Sargadelos ceramics, yellow broom flowers and forms — do not function as narrative elements, but as traces of what remains once time has passed through human, female experience.
The intimate and the symbolic come together to evoke a living archive in which the traces of human experience endure.
