Selection of works belonging to an ongoing pictorial investigation into body, symbol, void, and material.
The body emerges as a territory suspended in time, traversed by material and void. The presence of gold marks a symbolic threshold between the visible and the absent.
The body is traversed by opposing forces: ascent and fall, impulse and weight, desire and labor. Symbolic elements operate as fragments of a ritual imaginary, placing the body in tension with the ideas of choice and destiny.
The artist`s identity is never found in the calm of what is known; it is found in life itself - in its turbulence, in its demand for more, in the desire to understand what the eyes do not yet recognize.
